"A Sigh at the Times"
It's 2010 and we're at the decline
Where our shallow generation will always be defined
By who wins over your ego and who can make the most cash
Even though, pretty soon, we'll be brought to ash
Materialistic we are, and it's enough to make you sick
It's a habit (like hate) that we all need to kick
Because there's too many people that we always overlook
Cause their reason for living doesn't go by the book
But it starts at school where we're judged by a letter
A whole life on paper, and it doesn't get better
Our system doesn't work, it's a loop we should break
Someone should step up and give our minds a little shake
So never ever think that you're just a dollar sign
A piece of paper never tells you who you are inside
We're all human beings, and money we're not
Take the bull by the horns and make the false judgment stop

"An 8-Liner For a Mouth Full of Trash"
Everyone talks the talk
And claims to walk the walk
And when it comes to talking trash
No one wants to stop
Negative words from bad mouths
And negative thoughts from angry minds
Can't we stop polluting this
And make an attempt at being kind?

"Posthumous Popularity"
Oh, dread the day a celebrity dies
A blast of hype from the public eye
Their popularity will reach the crest
As soon as they are laid to rest
The people cry while money is spent
On the merchandise of this "dramatic event"
While they relate themselves to one they didn't know
And soon it's all on some TV show
So you can throw around your "Rest In Peace"
While the media gains revenue for the deceased
But I won't praise someone because of their death
Welcome to the cycle of overratedness
